GOOD NEWS

We desire to see lives transformed by Christ! Everything we do is shaped by the Gospel, which is the good news of what God has accomplished in the person of his Son – in His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection – to secure forgiveness of sins and fullness of life for all who will repent of their sin and believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. The Good News of Jesus is central for life and ministry. We are intentional in sharing the Message of Christ through every ministry area and with our personal relationships with those we serve.

We Believe

  • There is only one true and living God who is the Creator of the universe. He exists eternally in three Persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe Jesus Christ to be the virgin born Son of God who lived in flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again, and ascended to the Father [*as] according to the Scriptures.

  • We believe that the death of Jesus Christ was the final and complete sacrifice for the sins of humanity. Salvation is obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. All who repent of their sins and receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are born again into eternal life as children of God.

  • We believe that life on earth is to be lived in the power of the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers, enabling them to live distinctive lives in the life and power of Christ, glorifying the Father in heaven.

  • Created by and for God, we seek to passionately pursue an intimate relationship with God in response to His great love for us. To know God is the ultimate treasure of the soul.

  • We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

 MISSION

Our English word "mission" comes from the Latin word for "sending." Being a Christian includes being sent into the world as a representative of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."

We have been rescued & redeemed by a loving and missionary God. Therefore, we seek to join His mission by making disciples and loving our neighbors with the love of Christ.

We want to be known for…

  •  Praying for conversions through evangelism

  • Creating Disciples that create disciples

  • Pursuing holiness

  • Seeking justice, loving mercy & walking humbly with God

  • Being a voice for those who have no voice

  • COMMUNITY

  • The Gospel creates a redeemed and transformed community.  We are committed to living life together,  evangelizing and challenging one another to grow as disciples of Christ.

  • Believing everyone is made in the image of God means that we will care for everyone “from the womb to the tomb.” We celebrate and recognize pre-born children and the tragedy of abortion; encouraging adoption and orphan care; valuing people with special needs; working to end human trafficking; promoting racial reconciliation; seeking to eradicate poverty and death from preventable disease;  and caring for those at the end of life.

  • Both the Old Testament and New Testaments emphasize the mandate to love our neighbors as ourselves, especially the weak and vulnerable in society. Faithful Christian living involves such concern for social justice.

  • We believe emphasis on the simplicity and power of the Gospel will help us be unified. We can agree to disagree over matters that are not of first importance. But on the Gospel, we will be together.

  • We refuse to argue over trivial matters because of the urgency of getting the Gospel.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:  that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19
